Study of a Kappa |
| Description: |
Study of a Kappa. Legend: Kappa is an inhabitant of rivers. Its head ressembles that of a monkey and on the top has a cavity. Its round shape reminiscent of a monk’s tonsure. According to folklore this cavity must be filled with water, otherwise the kappa dies and looses his spell. The body of this strange creature is a combination of turtle and frog. The kappa is believed to be rather mischievous and in particular, very fond of young girls. |
