Title: Shoki, the Demon Queller
Description: Shoki, the Demon Queller with an oni (demon) sitting on his rotten straw hat, peering through a hole. Shoki usually shown as a terrifying bearded giant with a wide-brimmed hat and carrying a sword. Is believed to chase and destroy all Onis (demons). He is of chinese origin and a favourite subject of Japanese artists. Very often he is made the victim of the devils whom he chases.
